Often happens at first time login to Windows Server after installation. When downloading a file on IE, a “Security Alert” “Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded” appears.

 

Solution:

  1. Go to “Tools” > “Internet options”

     
  2. “Security”>"Internet" >“Custom level…”

     
  3. Find “Downloads” and choose “Enable” > “OK”
