Teampel (TP) is usually revised every season. Users can usually enjoy the latest version of Teampel through upgrade. The following provides a Teampel upgrade guide for IT staff of organizations and enterprises.
When upgrading, Teampel service will be interrupted for about 30 minutes (depending on the size, type, and specifications of your database). It is recommended to broadcast before the upgrade and proceed during the off-peak period.
Teampel is divided into "Server" and "Client ", and Teampel Server can be divided into SQLite, MySQL (Windows or Linux) and SQL Server based on the database used. The server schema is as follows:
Teampel upgrade process can be divided into three steps:
*During the upgrade, if you got an error message or the update fails, don't worry. Take a screenshot of the error message and write to support@teampel.com or call 02-2833-9800, we will assist you.
Download the latest Teampel (it is recommended to regularly visit Teampel official website to get the latest version information).
The administrator uploads Client update package to "Upgrade" in Teampel management system. When a user signs in, it automatically detects whether there is an update package and will prompt the user whether to install it.

* If you have any questions during non-working hours, or need to restore Teampel communication function immediately. After removing the upgraded version of the new Teampel server software in "Apps & features", you can install the previous version back so that users can continue to use Teampel service.
* Warning: do not manually delete the Teampel folder, which may cause the loss of the database files!
